Ricky Tweets has always been inspired by the birds of California. He has grown to respect and protect their environment. Ricky grew up in the Northern California. The area was filled with farmland. Ricky would roam the countryside learning about the different types of birds that existed in the area. He learned what they ate, how they lived, what their habits were and what was unique about each bird. He was fascinated about birds and would study them in their natural habitat. He would watch how they interacted amongst each other, how they respond to other birds. Ricky observed that each bird had its own personality and they spoke and/or sent a message to him via their mannerisms. It is with these experiences that Ricky has brought to life the various stories and journeys he taken with the birds of California.
