Richard Hudson was born and
grew up in South Texas. His passion for the area is evident in his work. He is
an award-winning photographer, journalist, and historian. Hudson has written
hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles. One of his most enjoyable magazine
appointments was with National Geographic
World – Southwest Correspondent, photographer and writer about kids who did
something unique or special. Before Javelina Mesa, he authored two
books. Yet this is his first children’s book, one he first shared with his own
young children and grandchildren. Hudson’s giclee and canvas photo art range
from 13”x19”, 36”x 42”, and wall murals displayed in galleries in Fort Worth
and South Texas. Richard Hudson makes his home with his wife, Janis, in Fort
Worth, Texas where Ranch Style Beans originated.
