Raymond Thomas Testa (aka Ray Testa) is a New York based poet and visual artist whose creative work blends introspection with visual storytelling. After a successful career in global finance, Ray turned to the arts as a way to reflect, reconnect, and reimagine life.
His debut poetry collection, Wonderings, pairs evocative poems base on his experiences, with original artwork including oil paintings, photographs, and digital designs—inviting readers into a personal yet universal meditation on life, love, and legacy.
Ray’s work explores themes of memory, gratitude, nature, and the beauty found in everyday moments. Whether painting in his Manhattan studio or writing at dawn, he looks to create art that lingers, provokes, and uplifts.
When he is not in the studio, Ray enjoys spending time with his wife Karen, his daughters, and his grandson Hudson. Wonderings is the first in a planned trilogy of poetic reflections.
