Mr. Ghadimi has practiced medicine in several countries on three continents. He is a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force. He has been active in the International and Interstate Telehealth of the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), and was the Chairman of ATA International. Mr. Ghadimi has served on the NM Medical Board and many other boards of local and national healthcare organizations. He has been the recipient of many awards, including the NM Academy's "2003 Life Time Achievement Award." He has practiced in rural, as well as urban health centers. In family practice, emergency medicine and orthopaedics and was a clinical instructor at UNM College of Medicine. He is retired from practice and is writing full time on healthcare and education issues.
