Dr. Harris has worked in postsecondary education for over two decades in various leadership capacities. She developed The Pheather Method while pursuing her master's degree at Harvard University. She graduated at the top of her class from all of the postsecondary institutions she attended; receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Southern California, a Master's degree in Education from Harvard University, and a Doctorate in Higher Education from The George Washington University. She was born in Southern California, has advanced degrees in education with a focus on how schools can be more intentional about supporting all students, and has dedicated her life to service. She has worked with thousands of students over the course of her career to help them achieve (and maximize) their full potential in academia, has overseen multimillion dollar initiatives that provide faculty with professional development, and has authored research publications on culturally relevant pedagogy. She enjoys music, reading books, and spending time with family and friends.
