Rev. Kate Ester Johnston is a Minister of the Word and Sacrament in the Presbyterian Church USA and a Board Certified Healthcare Chaplain. Her ministry has focused on grief work, children's faith formation, and experiencing God through art. She has combined some of her loves into her new book "Advent: On the Lookout for Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love" as she helps children engage the spiritual discipline of 'waiting' through art, scripture, and traditional hymns with an included look and find for some whimsy. She currently serves as a Hospice Chaplain in Indiana and lives with her husband, daughter, and two fur babies.
