Pat Taylor Ellison writes books that help people talk about complicated things more easily. Her books with theologian Patrick Keifert have helped local churches around the world understand and live with one another better. She has written a series of four adventure novels for young people aged 7-12. These books contain suspense, teamwork, humor, and several great kids who only occasionally need help from grownups. But death comes in these books, and the kids and their parents find a way to talk about that key event in life, too. When parents and grandparents read and talk with their kids about death and dying, life gets fuller and God's peace settles in.
Pat lives with her husband five blocks from their daughter, her husband, two grandsons, and two crazy dogs in Fargo, North Dakota. She has had adventures all over the world but is glad to make her home in a wonderful city with the people she loves most in life.
