Author Info

Maureen Cummins lives in Georgina, Ontario on Lake Simcoe with her husband, Kyle.  They are soon to be first time parents to a son they plan to name Myles. She is also a certified crazy cat lady and they have three cats: Iris, Daisy and Delilah.

Although she currently lives in Canada, she is originally American born and bred. Maureen was born in Orlando, Florida and lived there most of her life. She went to Florida State University and studied English Literature, with an emphasis in Shakespeare and a minor is Business. It was at FSU that she met the best friends she would ever have: they remain her chosen sisters to this day.

Maureen moved to Ontario in 2019 after meeting her Canadian husband at the 2018 Coachella Music Festival in Indio Valley, California. She says neither one knew what they were getting themselves into, but Kyle insists that he knew the moment they met that the had found his forever person. They shared a sweet and private marriage ceremony in June of 2019.

Maureen loves reading dark and twisted literature - the more emotional the better. She enjoys running, making bath bombs, and preparing to welcome her son into the world. She is a certified English teacher and is working on a career in publishing.

This is her debut novel, but certainly not her last.
