Barbara Duff Brannon was born December 19, 1951 in Gastonia, N.C. Growing up Barbara traveled a road that had many roadblocks and obstacles, that presented in the form of family instability, emotional hurt, anger, sickness, disappointment, and despair. Yet; she enjoyed rollerskating, dancing and gospel music. Babysitting was her joy and passion. At age 15 she was diagnosed with an incurable disease called Myasthenia Gravis. The doctors told her she had a 50/50 chance of surviving. Courageously, she refused to die. She found forgiveness and love in God and his powerful ability to heal. She married the love of her life Larry Brannon in 1972. To their union God blessed her to conceive and give birth to 3 babies after being told by her doctors she would not be able to have any children.  After suffering for 24 years with MG Barbara, was miraculously healed in April 1990. Having already witnessed so many victories, Barbara continued to walk by faith when she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer November 2012. She found one of her favorite verses in the Bible, to be true. Hebrews 11:6 "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Because of her love for children, Barbara served on the Mother To Mother program for 10 years, and was an advocate with the Oklahoma Foster Care Review Board over 20 years. Suffering many devastating afflictions and diseases Barbara, was pressed in her heart to share her healing experiences with the world. A book was written to encourage and inspire. One Life, Many Testimonies: A Legacy Of God's Grace And Mercy, is a beautiful portrait of God's strength and healing given on her journey of life.
