For the past fifty years, now retired Gwen Trammell McMath served the children of Texas by teaching elementary and special education classes all over the state in addition to raising her own three daughters, and now she adds to the lives of her five grandchildren. She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education from Texas A&M Commerce. Since retirement she has been writing memoirs. This is her first book. She currently is a widow residing in Corpus Christi, Texas.
