Nati del Paso is a writer, counselor and student of indigenous psychology. Raised in Mexico by a Mexican mother and an American father, she works as a lead counselor in the Office of Minority Affairs and Diversity of the University of Washington in Seattle.
Del Paso weaves psychology, mysticism and magical realism into suspenseful tales surrounding the immigrant experience, women, and environmental and social justice issues. She recently completed her first novel and is working on the second one in Snoqualmie, Washington where she lives with her husband.
