R. L. Wright Jr. is a self-taught poet, podcaster, and graphic designer with an eclectic writing style that focuses on the multitudes of the human experience. Growing up in Dallas, Texas, he struggled to express himself and deemed writing more of a punishment than a passion. Eventually, poetry became his main way of articulating his innermost feeling states. This led to the release of his debut book.
The realm of poetry aside, R. L. holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, a master’s degree in graphic design, and he is presently pursuing a doctor of physical therapy degree at Arkansas College of Health Education.
