Michael Pallamary was raised in Dorchester, MA. He is a prolific writer and the author of numerous books. This is his first novel, a work of fiction set in 1968, a tumultuous year when Boston was torn asunder with racial strife. It is the year Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert Kennedy were assassinated. It is also the year the Vietnam War peaked, when many young men from Dorchester were killed in a foreign land on the other side of the world.
