Michael grew up Eastern Orthodox and became Methodist as an adult. Today he belongs to a Bible-based, non-denomination church where he leads life groups and morning prayer.
He is a retired carpenter and lives in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. He is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA having worked in television, film, and radio. He played and recorded with many bands up until 2020. He now focuses on using his musical talents to serve in the church band seated at the drums.
