Author Info

Marcia Dove is an avid reader of mystery novels, inspired by her late grandmother, Edith Macfarland, a faithful follower of Agatha Christie.

After the loss of her husband, Bill, Marcia commenced writing mystery novels, which she says helped her through the grieving process. The protagonist in her books, Maggie McManus, is grieving the loss of her mother.

A former hospitality professional for over thirty years turned University Instructor, Marcia is no stranger to the glamourous world of hotel management and the rigor of university life. Marcia writes about what she knows best: hospitality, the business of people. With a Minor in Psychology, her cast of characters includes characteristics that represent real-world people with all their frailties: needy, greedy, gregarious, self-centered, and some downright dishonest. Her books include a splash of romance and a peek at hotel life from a former GM's perspective.

Marcia resides in On Top of the World, Ocala, Florida, with her three out-of-control ginger cats, Freddie, Cupcake, and Pumpkin.
