Dr. Setty has been a Board Certified Anesthesiologist since 2003. Prior to obtaining his medical training at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Pennsylvania, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from M.I.T. He has worked on various research and development projects in the Aerospace and Defense industries building tactical training simulators and displays for acoustic data acquisition systems. Madhava lives in Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
Dr. Setty has been an outspoken critic of the Covid-19 pandemic response and served as the Senior Science Editor for Children's Health Defense. He is a Science Advisor for the International Center for 9/11 Justice. He writes a popular newsletter, "An Insult to Intuition" on the substack platform.
