M. J. Hatcher was born in Arizona, where the creation of her book and the journey it went on began when she was only fifteen years old. She now currently resides in Tennessee, in a town known as the story-telling capital of the world.
When M. J. is not writing, she can be found with a good book or spending time with her five younger siblings and incredible parents, who nurtured her love for literature and encouraged her writing dreams which she's had since she was a pre-teen. M. J. wanted to write a book that you could grow up with, a clean yet exciting story that teens and adults can all enjoy and she is thrilled that her readers now have a chance to be a part of that dream.
