Lorene Bromfield was born and raised in Atlanta Ga. She is the youngest of seven siblings born to the late Charlie and Mary Lou Dorsey. Lorene graduated from Clark College where she received a Bachelors Degree in Journalism and Communications. She furthered her studies in education at Mercer University. Her professional career in communications included working for the late Mayor Maynard H. Jackson and Editorial writer for The Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau. She later began a career in education where she began traveling the world leading students to travel destinations around the globe to Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, China and Morroco. As a retired educator and journalist she spends her time traveling, writing and volunteering in local community events. She is an active member of her Church and enjoys spending time with her family.
