Lloyd J. Wheatley was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a nine-year veteran of the United States Air Force. He has an A.A. Degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor’s in Business Management, and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Finance. He worked in two fortune 500 companies as a manufacturing manager for 12 years. He left corporate America and started a Luxury Limousine Company in 1994. He sold his business in August 2019. 

 

He lectures on business and the writing of his books over the years at Delaware State University and for the Delaware Chapter of the legendary Buffalo Soldiers. He taught adult education, technical training, and College level classes in Delaware. He resides in Dover, Delaware, and now writes full-time. 

 

His first book, “Blain Hawk U. S. Marshal The Complete Trilogy," was used for study at Delaware State University. His Sci-Fi and Religious Fantasy thriller "The Promise Keepers" have several mind-bending twists in the plot. The current release of "S.U.G.A.R." is a murder mystery of quintuplets cast in his hometown of Baltimore, a classic who-done-it with international underworld ties. 

 

Lloyd often mentors small business startups with those new owners serious about success using the needed tools and proven branding business models he developed over the years. His area of expertise in corporate America and what he lectures most on are Leadership and Management, Interpersonal Communications & Group Dynamics, and Organizational Change. An extrovert and entrepreneur in every sense of the word, you will find yourself quickly at ease when speaking with him.
