Lindy Rice is a retired teacher and lifelong animal lover. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from U.C. Davis. Ever since she received pet ducklings for Easter as a child, ducks and chickens have been part of her family. She has spent many years observing and studying about ducks. Raising Dino was one of her most unusual experiences. At first, Lindy wrote this story just for her grandchildren, but everyone loved it so much they encouraged her to share it with the public.
