After retiring from her teaching career, Linda Stefko focused on writing her first novel Secrets in the Smoke which was published in 2020. The fictional saga was inspired by extensive research of Pittsburgh history as well as her own family stories and surprising ancestral discoveries. Linda has again woven a storytellers mix of fact and fiction into Blinded by the Smoke, her second novel. Having grown up in Pittsburgh, she now resides in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania where she raised her family. She cherishes every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
