Leann Corabi was born and raised in Tallmadge, Ohio. What is Grit? is her first book and was inspired by her work in corporate America. Leann worked downtown Chicago, Illinois at a dot.com company, where she led multiple functions across numerous groups within Operations. It was there the topic of grit started picking up momentum as a quality the top most successful leaders across various organizations held. Through her personal research, she was inspired to help children learn the meaning of grit and how to achieve their goals through perseverance and determination. Leann and her husband, Ryan Corabi, moved back to her home town of Tallmadge, Ohio in March 2017. They are happy to be back in Ohio to raise their children closer to family and settling their roots in a great community.
