Laurie Powers debuted as an author with her book “What Once Was Hidden”, written from her personal journals over many years. She loves to connect God’s story with her story.
She changed it up a bit and began “doodling” as she studied the Word of God. What was birthed out of that is “God Doodles”, illustrations that creatively bring the Bible to life. She will tell you that God unleashed a creativity that she didn’t know existed and has been using it to bless others who want a deeper relationship with their Creator.
Laurie has four God Doodles books, each representing different parts of the Bible. Her latest, God Doodles 4, represents the book of Genesis.
Laurie has been married for 40 years, has two sons and 8 grandchildren.
