Hey everyone!
I’m a Kansas City born and raised artist and the creative behind PaintSmith Studio. I’m a wife, momma to 3 littles and a NICU nurse. I’m a busy gal, but I make time for art because it’s such a passion of mine. I’ve taken art classes since I was very young and truly love all mediums, but fell in love with painting in high school. There’s something so relaxing and therapeutic about mixing colors together on a blank palate. And something so satisfying about watching something in my head come to life on canvas just by the way I move my brush.
I did a summer intensive at The Art Institute of Chicago before college and really honed in on my technique and have been taking full advantage of every opportunity to “practice” ever since.
My true love is painting for others. I love doing custom work and have painted on everything from canvas and paper to clothing and walls but my most recent project....I wrote and hand painted my own children’s book. “Firefly finds the alphabet”
