Hanson, a Viet Nam Veteran and middle of road conservative. From humble
beginnings, I have enjoyed an adventurous life, gaining many friends and
acquaintances along the way. From the Military to the Race Horse Industry, as a
Realtor and then into Hospitality, my adventures never end. Currently, I am
attempting an enterprise as a writer. Thank God for spell check, Grammarly and
my great neighbors that volunteered, (were coerced) into being my guinea pigs.
My goal is to inject some fun and common sense into the thought process of, I’m
hoping, the many that read my stories.
I,
like countless others are concerned for the millions of folks that are in or
near retirement and cannot afford the basic necessities of life.
As
a two-time cancer patient, I could never afford the excellent treatment I
received if I didn’t have access to Medicare and the affordable supplemental
insurance, thankfully, I am able to acquire. We must find a better way to
provide health care for our citizens, but the answer is not socialized
medicine.
Health
care and teaching the younger generations to prepare for retirement should be
one of the top agendas for our many entrepreneurs and business savvy intellects
to solve. You notice, I didn’t say politicians. The cost of education and the
massive debt taken on by the millennials should also be a priority.
The
waste and the corruption of our government needs to stop. Trying to investigate
and impeach a sitting President because he doesn’t adhere to your point of view
is preposterous.
Every
American should be outraged by the waste of taxpayer money, time, and energy
that we were forced to endure, by members of Congress over the last several
years.
I
have written this book, not to embarrass or condemn any person or group, more
to give a little history and have some fun with our political establishment.
