Author Info
Keri English is a native New Yorker with a penchant for pages. Her first full length book, Hats & Other Musings: Stories from a New York Life is an unapologetic journey through the headspace of an author who hopes to lend strength to those who need it, Hats is a manifesto on life, love and all the other not so pretty parts of growing up. Hats uses words on a page to do what the voice often fails to do; say it out loud, accept it and keep living. When you find self-love, you often see where you are meant to be. Hats shows us just that, and it bursts with self-discovery in the form of essays, poetry, spoken word and raw truth.

Keri's work has been featured on IndieReader.com, HuffPost, Jezebel.com, USA Today, Daily Mail, and In the Powder Room. Keri is a seasoned educator, teaching Community College in New Jersey, who shares her own stories to help beginning writers find their narrative voices. Her writing has been taught in various forms of curriculum to students across the country. Keri is passionate about teaching and learning in all forms, is working on her next collection, and currently lives in New Jersey, escaping whenever possible to Cape Cod.
