Judy McCandless grew up 4 blocks from the sea in Massachusetts with a passion for travel. At 24 she drove to California for adventure. She stayed to marry and advance an administrative career in health care up to weapon systems contract management. For a career break from stress, she left Westinghouse Electric to crisscross the Pacific Ocean with her husband in their sailboat.
She has over 20,000 miles of ocean sailing experience, thirty years of sobriety, enjoys helping others develop. She is currently retired from business but still travels widely. She lives in Williamsburg, VA with Maggie May, a mini-schnauzer.
