Joshua Del Rey was born under a different name at North Shore Hospital in Skokie, Illinois, during the summer of 1979. He received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Florida Atlantic University and audited an MFA in Fiction Writing from Chapman University. His first collection, BANNED BOOK, will be released on Memorial Day of 2022. Selections from this collection have been featured in Adelaide Literary Magazine and in Dab Art's national exhibition Art in the Time of Corona. Joshua Del Rey is now happily married to Katherine Delos Reyes, and they welcomed Bravery Del Rey, their first son, into the world in April of 2020.
