Novelist Johnnie E. Sanders, southern born and raised next door to a Baptist church, in Birmingham Alabama. With 13 uncles and aunts, he learned at an early age how to fight, tell jokes and dress and read, plus play sports and cards.
After high school Johnnie E. Sanders attended Knoxville College where played football until transferring to Jacksonville State University where he pledged Kappa Alpha Psi. His flare and determined nature lead him to Los Angeles.
Novelist Johnnie E. Sanders now resides in Seattle Washington with his three children.
