John never planned on becoming a novelist, but when his friends bailed on a D&D game, he took matters into his own hands. Turning his game master imagination toward the page. Since then, writing has become a true passion.
He’s also a lifelong learner, earning two master’s degrees and now working toward his PhD. Much of John’s inspiration comes from his travels and the adventures he’s collected around the world.
When he isn’t building fantasy realms, he’s busy creating real-life adventures with his family.
John merges the regions he’s traveled with his imagination from tabletop gaming to create an immersive and ever-expanding world. Each novel of the RoTC introduces readers to the trials of those who live within it. The first novel, Azoria’s Blade; has been referred to as ‘Conan the Barbarian meets The NeverEnding story with a sprinkle of Kill Bill”.
John is an avid tabletop gamer, comic collector, and fantasy fiction fan. His writing influences include Stephen King, David William Ross, R. A. Salvatore, and Louis L'Amour.
