Born in Nebraska, 1949, John Fowler was stricken with Polio at the age of two. Determined to succeed in life, he obtained a master's degree from Lincoln University. He married his lovely wife, Patricia, in 1971. In 1979, they moved to Missouri, where their family grew to four sons, and six grandchildren. Spending time with his sons and grandchildren, was always important to him. He worked in radio at KRZK in Branson, and as a meteorologist for KJEL radio in Lebanon. His voice was perfect for playing "Santa", over the radio, delighting children for years. He also served as a fire investigator for the Lebanon Rural Fire Department for 20 years. Hobbies were fishing, storm chasing (especially tornados), and writing. Polio returned and claimed his life in 2009. He wrote "The Adventures of the Tooth Fairy", as a legacy to celebrate the love and closeness he shared with his sons.
