Joe Bogdan is a teacher, mentor, and leadership practitioner with more than 24 years of service in the United States Air Force, including senior leadership roles in human resources, people development, and force management. Throughout his career, he led across engineering, communications, social services, and HR-focused organizations, serving in assignments around the world. His journey culminated as the Chief of Enlisted Force Development, where he led enterprise-wide education and developmental efforts impacting more than 410,000 Total Force Airmen.
Following his military service, Joe transitioned into the corporate sector, where he serves as a Human Resources Business Partner for a Fortune 500 company. He is also the Chief Learning Officer for Connecting Heads to Hearts (C2H), a leadership consulting firm focused on aligning self-mastery and leadership growth. In addition, Joe hosts The Waypoint Better Podcast, where he engages leaders and thinkers in conversations about growth, responsibility, and the lifelong pursuit of becoming better.
Joe is a board-certified coach and an adjunct professor of leadership studies. A sought-after speaker and instructor on resilience, management, and leadership, he remains deeply committed to mentoring others and developing leaders at every stage of life. Grounded in the belief that better has no finish line, Joe equips individuals to anchor in their values, navigate adversity, and lead with clarity and purpose.
When he’s not teaching, writing, or speaking, Joe finds his greatest joy in walking through life with his wife, Joanne, his true partner and encourager. Together, they continue to grow, serve, and invest in others along the way.
