Born in Los Angeles in 1968, Jerry’s early life took an international turn when he moved to West Germany, where his father served in the United States Marine Corps. Those formative years abroad shaped his worldview before he returned to the United States at age thirteen.
Settling in Washington State, Jerry completed his teenage chapter in Spokane, graduating from Joel E. Ferris High School. He later continued his education at the University of Southern California, balancing academic life with military service as a proud member of the United States Navy.
