Jenni Smith is an elementary school librarian who loves the world of children's fiction. When she's not reading to students she loves to be hanging with her family in Post Falls, Idaho with a dog or two at her feet.
"Peace, Love and Read Shoes" was inspired by an amazing 2 year old boy Julian Peace and his love for his red shoes and "the girls" the chickens whom he loved to visit on his little urban farm. When Julian lost his battle with childhood cancer Jenni began to pray and ask God what she could do to offer his family comfort. This book was birthed in those prayers. Now Julian's farm has become a respite for other kids facing cancer along with their families. When kids visit the farm they will get a copy of this book.
