Although she has written and illustrated many Children's Books, In the Age of Buoyancy, set in Cape May New Jersey, was the first historical fiction novella that Inga Buccella wrote.
That story led to her to being commissioned to write and illustrate a novel and coloring book for The Greater Cape May Historical Society. Waves of Independence is a story told in the voice of a young girl living with her family on Cape Island in 1776. The companion coloring book will be available for purchase very soon.
Illustration and writing are her passions. But she also values fostering children's creativity and intellect and hopes her books, (especially No One Like Ewe), do just that.
No One Like Ewe is her most colorful book so far.
It's also the only non-fiction story she has written.
