Hugo is the President of High Value Consulting Corporation, with offices in the USA and Colombia He is currently chairman of the boards of directors of educational, communications, systems, human resources, and security organizations.
An active member of the Presidents’ Forum and the YPO (Worldwide Organization 426of Presidents), he is also a member of the ACRIP Editorial Board (Human Resources Federation in Colombia) as a partner at Club El Nogal.
He holds the following degrees: Systems and Computer Engineering, MBA, Specialist in Human Resources, PhD in Business Administration, PADE – INALDE. Harvard President’s Class. He is an entrepreneur, creator, and developer of over 25 organizations, including in information technology and communications, several foundations, consulting companies, educational entities, service providers, manufacturing and sales companies in Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, the United States, and Canada. An author of nine books on management and senior management (Guía práctica para la caldiade, Liderazgo 21.2, Ejecutivo Visionario, Gestión Genial, Dirección inteligente, Talento Empresarial, Testimonios de Gestión Humana, Sabiduría Empresarial, and Empresario Cerebral), he has been a guest speaker in over 1,200 conducted conferences throughout the American continent.
He has been a member of over 35 boards of directors, including associations, insurance companies, banks, manufacturing industries in different sectors, universities, and professional service providers. He worked at IBM Colombia for 15 years, serving as IT manager, sales manager of large accounts in the financial 427sector, and sales manager in strategic accounts. Subsequently, he worked with NCR Colombia for 15 years as an executive president and chairman of the board of directors. He was also the president of Afina Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru (Afina NOLA Region) for seven years. Aside from being an entrepreneur and company director, he is an expert in business and sales strategies, change management, and human capital.
