About the Author

Author Info

“Gregory Carlyle Warner is a poet, author and spoken word artist hailing from Hampton Roads, Virginia; currently living and working in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. He is an U.S. Army veteran and holds various degrees from American University, Webster University, and Old Dominion University. His art started to manifest as a young man, but it was through the journey of life, where his unique soulful form of poetic expressions fully matured.

Gregory Carlyle’s struggles with love, military life, separation, divorce, and continued battles to be an integral part of his three daughters’ lives, proved instrumental in his development and his eventual inner peace.

“My hope is that everyone finds their true purpose in life through living life…the joys, the sorrows, the good, and the bad.”
