Hi, welcome to my adventure which started August 10, 1990, with my first poem. I grew up on a farm in northwest North Dakota where we raised sugar beets and wheat. It was an amazing way to grow up, wide open spaces and plenty of room to roam and grow. My dad farmed and my mother was a Bell Telephone operator, which sometimes got me into trouble. I had one brother who was six years older than I was, and the six-year difference allowed me to be on my own most of the time. This aspect of being alone, allowed my expansive and crazy imagination to develop. Over the years, my imagination grew to where my mind is always in gear and thinking of creative things. The funny aspect of all this is I hated English when I was in high school, couldn't write anything if I tried. My creative juices have driven me through these last thirty-four years. When you read through my poems and prose, I hope you enjoy them and maybe a few, and hopefully many will touch you in ways you didn't expect. God Bless!
