Frank Spina identifies as a crazy Cat Lady. He was inspired to write his first book, Wild Moms, by his son's insatiable curiosity for animals and his wife's unyielding efforts to fill that kid's life with unconditional love and fun, enriching and safe (!) experiences.
Frank's day job is in corporate communications and he makes regular efforts to inject as much play into his work as modern, professional decorum permits. In addition to fruitless endeavors that include word games, golf and NY Jets fandom, Frank spends a significant amount of his time making up impromptu rap lyrics aimed at getting said kid to listen to his parents.
He is grateful for the opportunity to partner with his talented friend and Asbury Park, NJ neighbor, illustrator Rupa DasGupta, in bringing their little book to life.
