Betty Godfrey lives in Jupiter Florida. She sailed around the world with her lover for three years, 43000 miles, in their sailboat. Betty had never sailed before and gets seasick. It was a very trying, adventurous trip battling high seas, wild storms.Sea sickness.Trying to cook aboard was a task, native mishaps were frightening. But it wasn't all bad. The beautiful places we anchored were breath taking, the people we met were wonderful. Making love on the beaches of deserted islands was blissful. Our love grew stronger and we became engaged in New Zealand. When we returned home and told our friends what we experienced, they said "Betty you have to write a book." We got married, then I wrote "On the Winds of Destiny." Several years later I wrote Enduring Times. It is based on a true story that has haunted me for many years. I had to write about it. The story takes place in Carnegie Pennzalvania in the 1900's. Moves on to the jungles of Columbia, South America, then on To Philadelphia. It a story that make you wonder? Could you Endure what Jennifer went through. Once you start it, it's hard to put down.
