Elsie Heide has been married to her teenage sweetheart for 30 years. Together they have four adult children—three daughters and a son—and one granddaughter. Elsie currently makes her home in Durango, Mexico, where she loves the beauty of both the mountains and the dry desert landscape that surrounds her.
