My children’s books focus on drug prevention, starting at a young age. Raising my own children was one of my greatest accomplishments. I believed in planting seeds early about important issues, like not doing drugs, in order for them to navigate successfully through their teen and college years.

Raising children today is even more challenging, but at the top of the list, parents must keep them safe and away from drugs. With the legalization of high-potency marijuana (and decriminalization of other drugs in certain states), it is even more important to teach at a young age, that all drugs are bad for them.

Unfortunately, many parents are still unaware of the changes that have been made to the marijuana plant, which puts their children at risk for addiction. It is no longer the Woodstock weed of the 1960’s. It is now capable of causing permanent mental illnesses.  Research points to teaching children at a young age, and I want to be a part of that work.

My books are tools to teach and start a “say no to drugs” campaign at home, in schools, churches, in other organizations, but more importantly in their young minds. Teaching them to say no to drugs, so they are able to stand up to peer pressure and live a healthy and happy life, is an important part of successfully parenting our children. I hope you’ll join me in this effort.
