Edgar J. Lavoie, born in Saskatchewan in 1940, raised in Quebec, and transported to Northern Ontario. He spent most of his life in the bush north of Lake Superior. Married, with two adult children, and grandchildren. Teacher for 35 years. Earned a Bachelor’s from Queen’s, and a Master’s from Western Ontario and Lakehead. First published work in 1960s. Wrote and published countless articles, poems, stories, histories, and novels. Now resides in Thunder Bay, Ontario, on the shore of Lake Superior. Ready for his next career move.
