Dr. Abderrahmane Touati is a Senior Research Scientist with Jacobs Technology Inc. since August 2015. He is the actual Jacobs Homeland Security Research Department Manager under the On-Site Laboratory Support (Contract) for EPA in RTP, North Carolina. He was a Senior Project Engineer with ARCADIS Inc. from July 1995 to August 2015 under similar On-Site Laboratory Support (Contract) for EPA. 

Prior to his tenure as an On-Site contractor for EPA, Dr. Touati was an Associate Professor (1988-1995) and dean of the Graduate School at the University of Blida (Algeria). Dr. Touati has an extensive range of experiences in the field of environmental emissions from combustion sources and in biochemical research with significant emphasis on sampling and decontamination methods following premeditated or non-premeditated incidents. The Rose of Jericho is his first novel
