Lisa Maude Williams is a former educator from Michigan. She loves to capture the drama of everyday life through fiction-writing. Her stories about African-Americans convey the sense of magic and purpose of a people fighting hard to break old cycles. Triumph over adversity, joy, and an abiding belief in "something better" make Lisa's characters come alive. The reader will root for them as they become immersed in the world created by the author.
