Charles M Johnston, M.D. is a psychiatrist, author, and futurist. He is best known as the originator of Creative Systems Theory, a comprehensive framework for understanding purposes, change, and interrelationship in human systems. For over twenty years he directed the Institute for Creative Development, a think tank and center for advanced leadership training in Seattle, WA. He has written numerous articles and ten books on the future and what it will require of us.
