Brenda Bassett is a new author. After a successful 33 year career as a hairstylist, she retired to be a full time caregiver to both her terminally ill parents. After their passing, she sat down and wrote her first book, Heart of the Witch, Soul of the Wolf as part of the grieving process but, also as a method of reconnecting with herself; that self seemingly a stranger. During this process of grieving and self discovery a love for writing was formed and will, hopefully, be developed further.
Brenda was born and raised in New England and currently resides in Massachusetts with her hunky, beardy husband Joe ( who she has been with since she was thirteen), her amazing son Joseph and their two black cats, Kit Kat and Bean. She is a talented artist, crafter and baker with a project going at all times. A trip to Salem, Massachusetts or the beach is where she will go for inspiration.
