The author has lived in Afghanistan between 2006 and 2017 working as advisior to the govenrnment in private sector development.
Her first book, "The Lion and I", is based on and influenced by her personal experiences of the time as well as by deep admiration for Ahmad Shah Massoud and his legacy.
All procedes from this book will go towards a humanitarian cause in Afghanistan.
