Amy is an ordained pastor trained in public speaking and life coaching. She served as an Associate Pastor/ Youth Pastor at The Upper Room Chapel in Richmond, VA for a combined 15 years before stepping into full time evangelism. She is currently traveling and sharing God’s Word at Women’s Retreats, Conferences, Youth Events and anywhere the Lord opens a door.
Amy established Amy Samuel Ministries in January 2019 and serves as the CEO of the Board of Directors. The focus of this ministry is to help others achieve victory in their everyday lives by teaching them how to live the Word of God and not just read it. Amy captivates her audiences by teaching them the truth of God’s Word coupled with testimonies from her own life experiences. Amy was miraculously healed from Depression at the age of 18. Since experiencing this incredible healing she is determined to share God’s love with anyone that would receive it.
Amy is a published author and her book “Don’t Give Up” is currently available online.
Amy is also a trained actress and has appeared in National PSA campaigns, several television shows and movies.
Amy has been married to the love of her life Tom Samuel, owner of The Grate Cheesini Gourmet Grilled Cheese food truck, since March 4, 2000. They have 3 amazing children together; Andrew Thomas, Jonathan Taylor and Margaret Faye “Maggie”. Their favorite thing to do together is hang out at their grandparents Rivah house.
Amy’s favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” She says, “It’s how I do life.”
