Aarti Love Mahtani loves telling stories that warm the heart and spark the imagination. Born in sunny Puerto Rico and raised on the colorful island of St. Maarten, she grew up surrounded by many cultures, languages and ways of life.
After graduating from college in Washington, DC, Aarti made her home in many beautiful places, including Florida, California, and now the peaceful suburbs of North Georgia.
An animal lover at heart, Aarti and her husband began their married life with four playful fur babies. Years later, they welcomed their greatest adventure yet -- their one and only son. As firm believer in learning through love, play and curiosity, Aarti embraced the path of homeschooling, especially unschooling and self-guided learning.
As an author, Aarti gently guides her readers (both kids and grown-ups) toward calm, connection and a deeper sense of their spiritual self, all through the magic of storytelling.
